The instituto del ballet folklorico Mexicano de carlos Moreno (ibfm) is Located in the beautiful Oakland hills residential area in California the ibfm first open it’s doors in 1981 as a school (or instituto) to the general public, offering Bay Area and northern California residents alike, the opportunity to experience the Mexican traditional art form through music, costume and dance.
Since the inception of the ibfm, the school has continuously provided educational programs, performances and classes to interested individuals of all levels and ages.
